CoronaVirus 2020
Saturday, March 28! My tickle in my throat has become a little more of a nuisance. Steve took the two kids that are home out to the pet store, while I stay at home and stay away from people. I am not saying I have it, I believe it is allergies. Everything is growing especially with all of the rains we are getting, but we are being safe. If I just have allergies they weaken my immune system a little and it is better to be safe than sorry. I will be taking something to help with them tonight.
Other than that everyone is still fine in my household. Kids (young adults) are still working many hours. Youngest and oldest are still going to school. Middle kid just had his assistant manager in his department call off again. I swear this guy calls off twice a week, but now he has to stay home for two weeks in case he has it so he doesn't spread it through out the store.
I am really ready to get back working now. It has been 3 months now, was thinking of working for the grocery stores, but I would rather not get sick!
So, until next time.....be safe and well...

Pandemic
The Corona Virus 2020
I have been preparing all my life for this craziness. I prep for a bad winter and sometimes we do have them.
My wonderful husband built me an amazing pantry that we keep in the basement. It is kinda empty now because winter is almost over, but I believe we have enough to pass through the next few weeks.

Kroger (which is our local grocery store) actually looks like it is closing. The shelves are pretty bare.

I don't suggest people to go to the extreme that we won't have food. The stores will restock and keep food. We need to stay safe and healthy. I myself am a little worried about the idea of getting sick, but not paranoid.

Ok, so I haven't really wanted to sit down and type anything out. We are going into a kinda lock down for 2 weeks starting Monday! April 6th is our day of freedom...Just in time for Easter. I am praying we get a little bit of a normal Easter. Both Steve and I take naps when ever we are tired, so I am either working on the house, laundry, switch, or taking a nap! I swear if we get one day that is warm and NOT pouring, I would love to start walking again.
Today we did run into Krogers to 1. say hello to our youngest and 2. to pick up a few supplies! I might have to run in early tomorrow I need cheese for a soup the kids love! Back to my point, the produce was stocked so nice and full for the first time in a week. The shelves were picked over, but still they had what I pretty much needed. Still need sesame seeds lol! They are really trying hard to keep supplies for those who don't prepare a head of time and are freaking out and taking everything off the shelves.
Oldest really is having a hard time, his girlfriends dad is keeping her home. He misses her so much! Then when he goes into work all he hears is Corona this and Virus that. He is actually working very hard. He had Thursday off of last week and had tomorrow off. He does click list at GE and they were bombarded last weekend with over 60 orders, but with everyone taking stuff they want, there wasn't much on the shelves. They finally took Click list off and making people come into the store, and kid is stocking them up. (which he is good at)
Middle kid works at Menards, and he doesn't understand why they are even open except with everyone off work they want to do home improvements so he has been busy. Makes no sense to me. I think they should also close down, or just have an order online and curb pick up. Keeping the looky loo's home!
Youngest is in the Liquor department at Kroger. People started to freak out when they closed the bars and everyone started to hit the state run liquor stores to get their heavy stuff. She said Friday they got their biggest shipment ever. She worked 5 am to 4 pm! Her boyfriends uncles are keeping him home starting tomorrow night, so she wont' see him either.
I am thankful that my mother in law had passed. I don't think Patty could handle the whole lock down, stress, and just people! She would sit and watch the news and would be so stressed just from the news!
As for Steve and myself, we are thankful we have each other to hold at night. Thankful we have 3 wonderful children. Thankful for the house we live in, the cars we drive, the job he has since I lost mine when Dressbarn closed. (Totally another story for another day)
Please take the time to love your love ones....hug them if you can, tell them you love them! Tomorrow might be the last, but here is hoping and praying it is just the beginging
